MiRNEye At A Glance

MiRNEye is a high-resolution expression atlas revealing the spatiotemporal distribution of 221 miRNAs in the developing and adult wild-type mouse eye.

The expression patterns were generated by RNA in situ hybridization (ISH) using Locked Nucleic Acid (LNA)-modified probes on sections of embryonic (E16.5), postnatal (P0, P8) and adult (P60) mouse eyes. The ISH procedure included a signal amplification step, which enhances the sensitivity to at least 5- to 10-fold. For more details, refer to Karali et al. (submitted).
